2-2. South Korea
In the case of Korea, the number of ships delivered by year was 277 in ‘23 and 185 in ‘24, which is an absolute decrease compared to the previous year. However, if you look at the CGT, which includes the difficulty of ship construction such as the ship's processing man-hours, facility capacity, and ship price, it can be seen that the CGT increases significantly in 22/23/24 years, respectively. This means that many high-value-added ships such as LNG are built in Korea.

Japan also shows a similar trend to Korea. The absolute number of ships is expected to decrease to less than 200 compared to the past, but according to the CGT standard, it is 10,876,863 in FY23, indicating that there are many high value-added contracts.
